Oh my goodness

Oh my goodness, my son just slipped in tonight at dinner that he and Meghan have moved in together with her kids.  He has a family now and I'm not supposed to make a big deal about it!!!  Major life change and he is just so non-chalant about it.  Oh well, I can be cool......okay maybe not, but I can control myself.

So I am 50 (hence the red hat) and my good friend and birthday buddy Jan made me a red hat so I can join the Red Hat Society.  I don't know why it's so important for me to belong to that club, but it just is.  50 and rockin a red hat, oooooh yeah!!!

Everything is going great right now.  My health isn't the best, but I'm not letting it stop me from living.  Yeah, I pass out, yeah, it hurts when I hit the ground, but until they tell me there is something they can do about it, I'm just going to go on business as usual.  I do baking, which was a great hit today, and I keep the house pretty clean.  I walk every morning and most evenings too.  I just can't stand in one place or be still cause then I go kerplunk.  I am expecting my prescription support hose any day so that should help to keep my blood pressure up.  The timing is not the best cause it is so hot right now, but if it helps keep me on my feet, I'll sweat.  I would love to be able to drive, but that's not to be so......radical acceptance baby!!!!

All my kids are doing really well.  Tiff is an amazing mommy and Jenni and Maria are the cutest little girls ever.  I get to see them in less than a month.  I can't wait!!!!!  Phil is working on the house so we can sell it and move into a condo and I have the best friends ever :).  So, today, in this moment, everything is going great and I can see the blessings God has bestowed on us.  Praise God Almighty for love and joy that lives in my life.
